Bokeh - bo·keh /bōˈkā/ the visual quality of the out-of-focus areas of a photographic image, especially as rendered by a particular lens What many people know it as "when the background is blurry". If you don't know, photography has always been a huge passion of mine. When I was younger I dreamed of being a fashion photographer in New York...But let's be honest, I can't go that far from my family or live in busy place like that!
Paint - Do I really need to define that? Painting was definitely NOT my first passion. To be honest, I hated painting...Why? Because I was scared of it. You can't erase it. Which made me think everyone would know when I messed up. I had a professor in undergrad encourage me to just try. So I did and I never looked back. I first learned Acrylic and Oil painting. Over the past few years I have learned liquid watercolor (my new fave). Liquid watercolor was a huge challenge after knowing how to handle acrylic so well. I was determined to learn, and I'm glad I did.
So there ya go, Bokeh & Paint...A cooler way to say Photography and Paint :)
